"Sustainability" has been a top priority at Lindner Hotels & Resorts for many years and at me and all hotels from the very first second. We have always been enthusiastic about developing projects to maximise energy efficiency in all Lindner Hotels & Resorts and me and all hotels and to live our ecological and social responsibility in the spirit of climate protection. 

Respectful dealing with our natural ressources is part of our daily work. We use 100% natural electricity, are closely wired with our region and continuously develop our sustainability management to ensure that your CO2 footprint is as economical as possible. LEDs, energy- and water-saving equipment as well as new technologies are also part of our basic equipment.

Renewable energies

  • the heat supply in all me and all hotels comes from environmentally friendly district heating with a low primary energy factor

  • the electricity is supplied from 100% renewable energies, in accordance with UBA specifications and proof by TÜV

  • Urban gardening made from 100% recyclable material

Digital air conditioning technology

  • Smart Metering / Hotel Room Management System:
    • reduces consumption in our rooms by around 25%
    • CO2 value 79% lower than usual
    • Heat consumption is reduced by around 20% through ongoing optimization measures
  • LEDs, energy and water-saving equipment, as well as new technologies are part of our basic equipment
  • All me and all hotels were built according to the specifications of the currently valid ENEV (Energy Saving Ordinance).
  • Air conditioning takes place via so-called low-temperature systems (heating and cooling), so we avoid every kWh of energy production that is not needed from the outset

STAY LOCAL

  • Shortening of the supply chain through local/decentralized purchasing processes (local heroes concept)
    • Delivery of local food and drinks
    • Supplier selection according to/with "sustainability approach"

InfraCert - Institute for Sustainable Development in the Hotel Industry

The publisher of the sustainability seal "GreenSign" is InfraCert, the Institute for Sustainable Development in the Hotel Industry based in Berlin. The certification is practical and specially designed for the hotel industry. The hotels, which are certified with "GreenSign", stand for a sustainable hotel management and fulfil criteria in the agreement of an ecological requirement, social commitment and economic success.
